Meet Stephen Bernard, CWC’s Workforce Development Manager

Last fall, we welcomed Stephen Bernard to the ChooseWell Communities team as our Workforce Development Manager! 

In his role, Stephen has responsibility for fostering relationships with community employers and supporting participants of ChooseWell’s KYnship Creates program as they prepare for employment opportunities.

Since his arrival at CWC, Stephen has leveraged existing relationships with several area employers and created a simulated work environment within the KYnship Creates program, providing experiences in Sales/Marketing, Product Development, Operations/Finance, and Human Resources based on the strengths and interests identified by participants’ unique skills and experiences. This environment provides hands-on experience, allowing participants to develop workplace skills, gain confidence, and prepare for real-world employment scenarios.

Stephen came to CWC from Family Scholar House and has also served in similar roles at JobCorps and Ladies of Promise.
